Note: For more entries on Neo Sentences see the
list in the
Article on the Neochart.
One way to mine this type of neochart comparison is work it over through various
transformational procedures. In other words, to digest it. Procedures I use
include the following:
Paraphrasing or transforming each neo sentence into an explanation you give
to a friend who asks you to explain it.
For example,
"We come into existence with two
bodies." (entry 100) contains the facts of our birth into eternity -- with a
temporary physical body in this world, and a permanent or immortal spiritual
body in the mental world of eternity, also called " the spiritual world" and
also "the afterlife" that includes "heaven and hell."
This much is contained in this spiritual neo, when unpacked.
Putting sentential neos together in order to construct a larger edifice,
perhaps a principle of living, a doctrine of truth.
Here is an example of a spiritual poem in which I maintain the alphabetical order while selecting
from the Sentential Neochart:
Affections are eternal in the mind.
Afterlife in eternity = the mental world.
Anatomical layers of the human mind form its consciousness.
Good and truth stream out of the Divine.
Humans are born into a dualist creation.
Mental world has the human anatomical form.
There are two kinds of ruling loves in the mental world of eternity.
The spiritual body contains our mental organs.
We are immortal, living forever.
We come into existence with two bodies.
We continue our immortal life in our spiritual mind.
This is a way of providing a meaning context for "We come into existence with
two bodies." The context of neos enhances the meaning of the single neo.
Here is another example where I keep the alphabetical order when selecting
from the Sentential Neochart.
Affections are eternal in the mind.
Anatomical layers of the human mind form its consciousness.
Cognitions are affections in outward garb.
Effects of the heart inflow into the lungs.
Every love has a built in power to consume itself.
He knows it, he feels it.
He must reciprocate by conjoining himself to her.
It is their very consciousness.
Masculine neologistic productions clash with feminine ones.
Mental conjunction requires reciprocal organic structures.
Our cognitive life of thinking is in the service of our affective life of
loves.
She burns with longing for affective intimacy.
She can only obtain this if he wants to have that with her.
She feels things by perception.
She just knows it, because she perceives it.
To be consumed is the purpose of a love’s existence.
Now, let me rearrange the order in some way that contains some continuity of
meaning on the surface level, thus noticeable by ordinary reading:
She burns with longing for affective intimacy.
To be consumed is the purpose of a love’s existence.
She can only obtain this if he wants to have that with her.
She feels things by perception.
She just knows it, because she perceives it.
He must reciprocate by conjoining himself to her.
He knows it, he feels it.
Masculine neologistic productions clash with feminine ones.
Anatomical layers of the human mind form its consciousness.
Affections are eternal in the mind.
Mental conjunction requires reciprocal organic structures.
Cognitions are affections in outward garb.
Our cognitive life of thinking is in the service of our affective life of
loves.
Effects of the heart inflow into the lungs.
Every love has a built in power to consume itself.
It is their very consciousness.
The meaning of this spiritual poem (a poem that has a spiritual topic),
relates to conjugial love and the celestial marriage that Swedenborg observed in
layer 4 of
the mental world of eternity ("third Heaven").

These neos about driving and drivers encapsulate my focus as "DrDriving"
from 1997 to 2008. It testifies and indexes my approach which I call "driving
psychology" -- a neologism I coined in 1983 and published in 1996.

These eternity neos provide you with a charting of my ideas on eternity
from 2000 to 2008.
They indicate that eternity is the mental world, that it is
the afterlife, and that it is the spiritual world. They discuss the anatomy of
the mental world and the formation of its spiritual societies into the form of
the human body. It is created and governed by the Spiritual Sun from God. Also
that every human being speaks the same universal thought-language in eternity.

5.
driving problems in our society
6.
thoughts and feelings of the person who is behind
the wheel
7.
drivers are generally very critical of one
another
8.
Drivers have a tendency to take on a new
personality in traffic.
9.
interfere with each other so that traffic is
slower than it has to be.
10.
Women drivers behave like women and men drivers
behave like men.
11.
I once got a Dear DrDriving letter from a woman
12.
but she keeps her hand below the window level
13.
Men tend to express their anger more overtly.
14.
annual cases of road rage assault between drivers
15.
they are under stress for longer periods than
women
16.
frequent stops on daily errands for children and
family (women)
17.
having to negotiate tight and competitive parking
situations
18.
In our book Road Rage and Aggressive Driving
19.
various types of driving personalities
20.
Vigilante Drivers punish drivers who make bad
mistakes
21.
drivers take on the role of Aggressive Competitor
22.
blocks the passing lane, refusing to move to the
right
23.
I myself have been a Rushing Maniac for many
years
24.
driver personality in traffic
25.
I call it a driving personality makeover.
26.
you don't like your regular driving personality
in traffic
27.
Most drivers think they are almost perfect.
28.
I use the phrase emotional territoriality
29.
to refer to this feeling and outlook
30.
Car owners buy vehicles that will make them look
good and feel good.
31.
the idea that the driver is the ship's captain
32.
has the authority on how to handle the vehicle
33.
I confess in the Preface to our Road Rage Book
34.
my personal interest in driving psychology
35.
her 90-year old Grandmother doesn't think I am a
good driver
36.
a good driver would adjust his driving style
37.
to take his passengers into account
38.
philosophy of driving
39.
granted passengers human rights to feel protected
40.
my wife and I drew up a Partnership Driving
Contract
41.
what makes her feel uncomfortable without
retaliating and punishing her
42.
available on our Web site at: DrDriving.org
43.
For Americans driving represents freedom
44.
to love cars is patriotic in the United States
45.
Since most people hate traffic there is a
love-hate relationship going on.
46.
watch car commercials and you'll see how they
appeal to independence
47.
independence, confidence, speed, superiority, as
well as safety
48.
Most drivers report that they feel angry emotions
while driving.
49.
Driving is the most dangerous thing most people
do on a daily basis.
50.
Many drivers see their aggressive driving as
assertive driving.
51.
The whole philosophy of driving is competitive.
52.
If you are not competitive you're probably a wimp
(supposedly)
53.
Drivers are prisoners of this competitive
philosophy.
54.
rationally
understanding that driving is teamwork
55.
Society fosters gender stereotypes in many areas
including driving.
56.
There is a practice of ridiculing women drivers
as unable to be skilled drivers.
57.
Yet statistics show that women are safer drivers
than men.
58.
Many men abuse women who are their passengers
59.
girlfriends or sisters and mothers
60.
They try to scare them and they take risks.
61.
This is a violation of passengers' rights.
62.
This is a societal practice that men enjoy
63.
Women are better at finding their destination in
an unfamiliar place.
64.
Men are inhibited from asking for directions and
blunder into mistakes.
65.
Women are more objective and task oriented when
driving.
66.
Men are distracted with emotional territoriality
and defensive thinking
67.
sees an insult where there is none
68.
Many different schemes have been used to classify
drivers into types
69.
driving is a cultural activity
70.
We pick up their habits of handling the car and
their verbal road rage
71.
swearing or criticizing behind the wheel
72.
pattern of aggressiveness that we imbibed as
children
73.
TV programs and commercials that depict drivers
behaving badly.
74.
I'm involved in creating an inventory of
feelings, thoughts, and actions of drivers behind the wheel.
75.
have drivers in traffic think aloud
76.
tape record their stream of thinking and feeling
77.
discover how we think and why we feel in certain
ways
78.
driver self-improvement activities
79.
people can improve their driving philosophy
80.
from aggressive and competitive to supportive and
cooperative.
81.
lifelong program of self-improvement
From a Few Email
Messages to my Students in 2007
1.
Your files have been deleted from the Web.
2.
Hope this finds you invigorated with the desire
to continue studying TP. (theistic psychology)
3.
See you in heaven.
4.
What a great surprise to hear from you ten years
later
5.
It's such an excellent report.
6.
I paste below the passages that I find really
significant that impress me.
7.
What you have expressed above is the critical
essence
8.
Your comments lead me to think that you will
definitely want to take a look at
9.
Just read the Sections whose title intrigues you.
10.
I tend to be repetitive (on purpose)
11.
Yes, it's been 19 years since you wrote it and 10
years since I put it upon the Web!
12.
I will be glad to substitute the file with the
new version
13.
You can also add an Appendix or Afternote, dating
it today.
14.
Nice hearing from you. Drive safely! Check out
the G26 reports.
15.
If you click on the report in Google it gives a
Not Found error.
16.
This is not on our computer, so we cannot delete
it.
17.
you can email google to remove the cached copy
18.
OK, I put your name on the list for 409a
19.
Try to pre-register, but if you cannot
20.
a few places left during the first week of
classes.
21.
We'll have to do our communication by email since
I am on sabbatical
22.
The class home page last semester with the
student reports is here
23.
I'll be teaching the same three classes for G27.
24.
Another alternative is to take the marriage class
again.
25.
three phases available for all couples to go
through.
26.
The lecture notes will be improved and the
reports will be different.
27.
Also the class orals will be more group oriented.
28.
The class is going to be similar to last
semester.
29.
Your registration in class is still in place.
30.
Just come to our first class.

My Favorite Neos is a particularly informative category in
autobiographical neocharts. It is a magnified or intensified index or
representation of the neo producer’s affective focus during the
reception-construction process. One can also specify this category further, as
in Title Neos, which ordinarily are the titles of articles, books, songs that
one has published. These are for the most part unique. Title neos, like favorite
neos, give us an inside track view of the author's mental world that formed the
context of the neo construction.
